Police suspect indeed the leaders of the Mosque, whose rector, Si Kaddour Benghabrit, issuing of false papers to Jews and resistant. At the Mosque, Younes meets the Algerian singer Salim Halali. Touched by her voice and personality, Younes became friends with him. He quickly discovers that Salim is Jewish. Despite the risks, Younes then terminates its collaboration with the police.
