Synopsis: Serge Tanner was a great actor, but he ended his career due to stress and exiled himself alone on the island of Ré. One day, his colleague Gauthier Valencia, whose career is at the top, proposes to interpret the role of Alceste in the famous play "The Misanthrope" by Molière. He is convinced that Serge agree to interpret this character that corresponds to it so well, itself being removed from society and rebelled against humanity. If by then follows a week of rehearsal, but when Gauthier officer and his mistress join them on the island for the weekend, the pressure falls on Serge so he finally pronounced. He leads Gauthier boat or did he really intend to tread the boards again?
