Synopsis:

Dr. Praetorius teaches at the Faculty of Medicine. He also leads the orchestra of students and thus alternated course, rehearsals and visits to his clinic. Everywhere Noah Praetorius is greeted with warmth and sympathy that he himself generously dispenses his friends, colleagues and patients. For this extraordinary doctor, the patient is first and foremost a human being who expects more comfort to the moral support of the practitioner that his remedies. Noah, however, has not only friends: one of his colleagues, Professor Elwell, was told that he was, formerly, a kind of healer, and the strange and taciturn Shunderson, an old man following Practorius everywhere like a faithful dog, was formerly convicted of murder.
