Dino gave his last recital in Las Vegas. Gone are the charming song which he is weary; and just the curtain fell, he moved to Hollywood, where the cameras are waiting to board his superb Dual Ghia. En route he has to, because of a stupid diversion, to take a detour through a small town in the heart of Nevada, Climax. The attendant Barney Millsap, in which he fills the tank of his car, the recognized immediately. Barney jumps on this unique opportunity to meet the crooner to show him the songs he wrote and whose music was composed by Orville J. Spooner, the respected music teacher of the village. Needless to say, his memorable works did not enjoy any success so far. Dino fell into a real trap. Barney does everything for him to hear his masterpieces. With composer sidekick, they do not hesitate to sabotage his vehicle. Tired by the fuss, Dino spent the night in Climax. Hospitality is offered not he, you guessed it, Spooner. So he has time to revel in the famous chorus. But Spooner is jealous. Fearing that his wife Zelda is a little too sensitive undeniable charms of the beautiful Dino, he returns home to his mother and asks Polly the Pistol, coach of his state bar, replaced for one night. The night will be decidedly long in Climax.
