Synopsis: Two twin seven year olds are esevelis under the rubble. The rescue team says their mother, Li Yuanni, that the release of one of the two children necessarily result in death of the other. Forced to take the most diffidicle decision of her life, she finally chooses to save his son, Fang Da. Li Yuanni does not know that her daughter Fang Deng, has heard it all while it is under the rubble. Left for dead, the girl miraculously survives. Suffering from emotional shock of the disaster and the painful memory of the choice of his mother, Fang Deng refuses to reveal his identity. It was adopted by a couple and leave to settle later in Canada to get married. She will return to China 32 years later when a new earthquake has struck his hometown.
